![]() Calgary Sun Rick Bell Wednesday, April 10, 2013 | AHS willing to talk but still not blinking on discontinuing discounted veteran parking
You’ve got to think.
Why don’t they just admit one of their mucky-mucks stepped in it, do a U-turn and the health system can go back and try to do what it’s supposed to be doing? Alas, as of press time, AHS is not keeping discounted parking passes for veterans. They do say they will sit down with the veterans and try to find a solution. They say they want to get to a solution. That’s as far as they go. How all this starts is the Calgary Poppy Fund buys 385 annual parking passes from AHS at $120 each. Veterans going to hospital for treatment and those visiting veterans in hospital . . . |
